If it has to be gas, then the gas fired Ariete or Palanca are great machines - just remember an electricity source will be necessary to power the pump and the auto-level, say 150 - 200 watts. An "inverter" powered off a car battery usually does the trick by stepping up from 12v to 220/230, and producing some 200 watts. These machines are supplied without a pump as there is usually a pumped water supply available. Please also note that our engineers are not suitably qualified to work on gas fired equipment.
Futurmat PalancaThe classic espresso coffee machine with the extraction technology that gave birth to an industry. Available as a 2 group gas fired model the Palanca or Lever machine uses an extraction system based on a manually operated, thermo compressed brew chamber. Each group head features infusion extraction and an independent heat exchanger. The boiler water level is electronically controlled and all models have two steam wands and a hot water outlet. The 13 litre boiler ensures adequate supplies of hot water and steam for a busy coffee operation.
